Q. Why can't I have my invoice total when I place my order?A. It is not possible when orders are placed for us to know the exact cost to ship. We can provide an estimate but it is only an estimate and we are not responsible for variations. Shipping costs vary according to the provider, your location, the weight of the package, and the number of packages. We always ship packages by the most economical means unless the customer requests otherwise. You may call us the day after your order is shipped for an invoice total at (317) 462 - 3124 or if you're ordering on line, use the "Special" shipping space to indicate you would like us to email you the total after the item or items have shipped.Q. I need a part not listed in your catalog?A. Because of limited quantities, it is not practical to list all our inventoried parts in our catalog. If you need a part not listed, please call us at (317) 462-3124 or email us at info@studebaker-intl.com. Please furnish a part number when making the inquiry.Q. How do I go about finding a part number when it isn't in your catalog?A. Manuals and Shop Manual packages are available for most Studebaker models. The chassis and body manuals contain exploded diagrams of the parts assemblies, and provide corresponding part numbers for the individual parts. By providing these numbers we can accurately determine if we have the correct part for your Studebaker.Q. Why do you charge for your catalog?A. Catalogs are sent free by bulk mail to those in the U.S. who have ordered parts by mail during the past three years. Our overseas customers may request a catalog with an order and new United States customers may order catalogs for a nominal charge which covers the cost of shipping.Q. I've moved and I still want to receive my catalog for free.A. Unfortunately, we cannot retrieve a catalog mailed to the wrong address and they are not forwarded so, please send us your change of address when you send out your other change of address announcements or give us a call at (317) 462-3124. We'll update our data base for you. Keeping your information current with us is a great way to receive our fliers and other publications besides the catalog.Q. What swap meets do you attend?A. We attend the following swap meets during the year: The York, Pennsylvania Meet; The Michiana Chapter Meet hosted by The Studebaker Drivers Club in South Bend, Indiana; and The Studebaker Drivers Club International Meet, held in various locations (This March 4- 6, 2010- we're back in York, PA).Q. Can I place an order and pick up the parts at the next swap meet?A. Yes, this is a good way to eliminate shipping costs and assure the exact parts you need are brought to the meet. We just ask that all orders are pre-paid and placed before the specified order deadline date. Our space is limited and some items are subject to availability so we encourage you to order early to avoid disappointments associated with these common issues. Keep an eye on the Events page for updates and we'll see you there to pick up your order! |
